Giving back to our communities

SERVPRO of Lawton team members have been so humbled by the outpouring of thanks from our Southwest Oklahoma First Responders.
We started offering proactive cleaning of area responders vehicles in early April, scheduling various departments in easy to access locations.
The Comanche County Sheriff's Department graciously lined up all their available units, two by two, for us to disinfect and sanitize.
Next was the Lawton Police Department, and yes, we even cleaned the motorcycles!
Next came the entire town of Waurika. The fire department had all their units lined up on both sides of the street for easy access. The EMS team welcomed us into the bay to clean the ambulances.
And the Hastings Volunteer Fire Department also had an impressive line up for our team to disinfect.
The takeaway? Each department responded with heartfelt thank you's to our team for thinking of them during this pandemic. And visiting with each responder on the cleaning line let us know they truly appreciated us.
We've always supported our First Responders, providing 24 hour emergency kits, free carpet cleanings, etc.
But this service? Trying to protect those who protect us? Cue the tears. Mine, and theirs.
So thankful to work for a company that believes in giving back to our communities.
