Severe storms create severe damage.

Today's forecasting technology warns us well in advance of upcoming storms.

Most of us get weather alerts on our smart phones, and we follow the local weather during storm season.

And we always think, "It could never happen to me."

But it does. Even with advanced warnings, and precautions taken, storm damage happens.

This customer shared her story while our team was onsite doing restoration.

They thought they were prepared for a storm, as they had so many times in past.

Until they heard loud, crashing noises in the middle of the night. Getting out of bed, they were surprised to find themselves knee deep in water, with more water pouring into the house from the ceiling and under the doors.

They went to the kitchen to ride out the storm and stayed on the countertops until the water began to recede.

It was a long night, and an even longer morning as they assessed the damage. 

Not only was there severe damage to the home, most of the contents were also damaged or destroyed.
